Smith is called to the scene of a car-jacking, where he finds the reluctant victim, Louise Larson, who initially refuses to pursue the incident. After some gentle persuasion, the pair decide to drive around to see if they can spot the men responsible – but as Smith confronts the two knife-wielding thieves, the situation spirals out of control. When Smith gets close, Nadir warns him off, stating that she is married to major villain Pete Larson. Meanwhile, Hunter and Nadir investigate a cash machine scam involving a number of 'skimmers' – and decide to mount an undercover operation to catch the thieves in the act.
