Elmo is trying to bounce his ball three times in a row when Zoe shows up with pompoms and does a cheer for Elmo. She is a Sesame Street Cheerleader! Elmo wants to be a cheerleader too, so he and Zoe set off in search of someone to cheer for. First, they find Telly trying to pogo with a triangle on his head. Elmo and Zoe make up a cheer for Telly and he succeeds! Hoping to encourage others, Telly joins the Sesame Street Cheerleaders, too. They search for someone else to cheer for and find Alan, Gordon, Maria, and a chicken; but are discouraged to find out they don't need cheerleaders.
