They packed for their trek and set out to hide away. At the cave, Stefan surprised Chloe by complimenting her on her beauty. The man who was tailing Sonny waited outside of the Penthouse and barely missed coinciding with Alexis. Alexis told Sonny that Emily asked her to represent Zander. Sonny said she should take a closer look at the case and let him know if he could help. Carly and Sonny assured a nervous Alexis that if they could make their marriage work, hers would too. Sonny later suggested to Carly that she help Alexis get over her pre-wedding jitters. Laura asked Edward to invest in Deception and he was interested--as long as it would pay off for him.
