Mitch is training for the annual Ironman competition and Garner documents everything on a videotape. Everyone tells Mitch to join the senior league, because he is old enough to qualify for it. But he wants to prove that he is still as good as he used to be and tortures himself during his training. It's obvious that he is going through a mid-life crisis. Later Mitch rescues a girl named Destiny. She got into trouble while she was using her dad's wetsuit, which of course was too heavy for her. Destiny makes Mitch feel like he is twenty-five years old again. Then he wins the Ironman competition, beating his rival Craig Hummer.
