Saki and Satoru leave Maria behind with Mamoru and return to the village. Saki is inquired about the situation by the Board of Education and just when they consider their disposal, Tomiko appears to intervene on her favor. After the inquirement, Tomiko reveals to Saki that her group was having their memories mostly unaltered by her request with the intention of raising individuals capable to lead the village in the future. She also reveas that an order of disposal will be issued to dispose of Maria and Mamoru but she gives her three days to ring them back before it happens.
