Katie accepts Simons proposal - with some conditions. Simon tells her that she doesnt get to make any conditions; he is planning the whole thing and even the date will be a surprise for her. He declares that all he wants is to make her happy; he even got a job at WorldWide. They make love. At Java, Isaac asks Ben to take over at the bar while he and Rose jet off to New York to surprise Bonnie and Paul. Jessica arrives and she and Ben work the bar together. They talk about how nice bartending would be instead of their high stress jobs. Lisa accuses them of lacking in spontaneity. Ben and Jessica take her up on her challenge and decide to go to New York. On the plane, Rose realizes that Carly designed the line that is being shown and that is what Paul has been lying to her about. Meanwhile, Jacks flight to New York takes off just as Craig lands in the Big Apple. In Carlys hotel room, Barbara confronts her about what she is doing at the fashion show. Carly makes up an elaborate lie, which Barbara sees right through. Craig arrives and tells Barbara to leave Carly alone. He reveals that Barbara knows everything. Paul promises Jen that he will tell Barbara the truth after the fashion show. Billy asks Jen to go out on a date after the show. Jack arrives, alerting Paul that Barbara is on her way to New York and that James is in police custody. Jack and Paul rush to Carlys hotel room, but arrive too late to stop Barbara. Paul urges Barbara to save face and leave New York and Jack promises to make sure that she gets on a plane. He takes her to the airport and enlists the flight crew to keep an eye on Barbara, who manages to avoid boarding the plane. Jack returns and tells Paul that he should give Carly the credit she deserves. Rose arrives and overhears Jack and Paul talking. When Paul sees her, she slaps him.
