Just as Jack is about to leave to see Carly, Julia walks in and reveals that she has been prescribed sleeping pills. She suggests that they try for another baby. Jack thinks they need to work through their grief over losing the first one. When she asks Jack to make love to her, he lies that he has to go to work. Hal signs the divorce papers when Barbara accuses him of putting the children in the middle of their marital problems. Simon returns home, surprised to find Katie still there. He informs her that he’s thinking of going back to Australia. Lucinda arrives, announces that Lily has gone away with her children and offers him another deal to leave town. She has a friend at the I.N.S. – Halliwell - who will call off the watchdogs and she will pay to have his marriage to Katie dissolved.
