Margo tries to avoid John and Tom by delving into work, but they force her to confront the fact that she has hepatitis C. Margo goes to the hospital for more tests and realizes that she could have gotten the disease from her rapist years ago. John reveals that her condition is complicated and that her liver has been greatly affected. Tom tries to comfort Margo and vows to support her. Marshall assures Barbara not to worry because he has a secret weapon. When court is in session, Marshall gets Hal to admit that he believes that Barbara was also a victim of James Stenbecks. Emily is hurt by his testimony and walks out. Jack takes the stand and Marshall goads him into admitting that he placed Barbaras life in danger and traded her for Carly.
