Emily is surprised when a horse drawn carriage arrives to take her to the Lakeview, where she finds Hal, dressed in a tuxedo. He apologizes for their argument and explains that he has planned an evening in Chicago for them. Emily gets ready for their night out, but they decide to stay in and enjoy some time alone. At the country club, Lucy and Alison lie to Rosanna about the party they are going to and Rosanna offers to drive her to the barbecue that the girls made up. Lucy promises Alison that shell handle Rosanna and calls Carly for help. At Java, Jack assures Carly that he is not going to let Julia disrupt their lives and he admits that he doesnt believe that she is pregnant with his child. Carly promises that she in turn will keep Craig out of their lives, but secretly agrees to help Lucy occupy Rosanna so that she can spend some time with Aaron. Carly waylays Rosanna by inviting her to take care of Parker. Meanwhile, Jessica tells Isaac that she has arranged for him to meet with the liquor board to renew his license and Brandy calls Marshall with the information. Marshall shows up at Java and notes a suspicious looking customer. When he tries to warn Bonnie about him, she tells Marshall that he is not welcome there because of how he is treating her mother. The customer pulls out a gun and announces that he is holding up the place. Later, Alison calls Lucy and says to meet her at the party.
