Alan is thrilled with a new management book he has found and is becoming obsessed with the idea of connecting nine dots with four straight lines (without any of the lines crossing) He instructs Richard to find a way to make Beaver Creek more interesting to the Americans. They decide to add an Asian to be a David Carradine character. The changes prove to be disastrous but end up being a setup by Alan.
