Stephanie continues to interview homeless people as she begins to gain a greater understanding of their plight. She begins to feel a connection with those around her and realizes that she, indeed, can make a difference in their lives. Eric begins to worry that Stephanie has encountered trouble while downtown. Brooke ventures downtown to the shelter to find Stephanie and is surprised to find Stephanie with the residents. Brooke and Stephanie listen intently as a group of homeless people narrate their stories about their lives on skid row.
