Tilda has a hard time keeping her desire for revenge at bay and in a fit of emotion arrests a man whom Tjugofouran believes is innocent. Tilda's sister Beata is the defendant's defense lawyer and she and Tilda meet in court. From the audience stand, Mats realizes that he is not alone in his distrust of Tilda's competence. The twenty-four continue the search for the truth and come into contact with a man who knew the victim.
