Luis has to come to terms with his relationship with Isabella. They're not married and she's dating which becomes a problem for Luis when the family gets ready to celebrate ""Happy Death Day"", an annual celebration memorializing the day Luis's father died. Isabella usually helps Luis plan it but this year she tells Luis that she will not be able to join him because she has a conference to attend for work. Luis is infuriated when he learns that Isabella is really going out of town for a romantic weekend with her boss.
