Sofia Sivenius (Elena Leeve), a renowned geneticist, Hannu Sivenius (Taneli Mäkelä), Sofia's father, and Henri Vaartama (Willehard Korart), a young man, are the focus of Finnish drama about a modern research hospital. The events of the series originate from a car accident witnessed by Sofia in which Henri is injured. However, the patient is referred to a research hospital instead of a polio, and Sofia's father forbids her daughter from attending Henri's treatment.
