In 1969, Jaqueline Emery called Dr. Holzer out to investigate her home in Sykesville, Maryland, also known as the Howard Lodge, a Georgian mansion from the 1700s. She reported hearing a sick child breathing, seeing mists around the house, and feeling a presence on the second floor landing. Hans conducted his first investigation solo, but after a startling experience, he planned on returning with a medium to try and get to the bottom of the haunting.
