Belgrade, mid 1920's...One night, the cossack Aljoša kills a priest of the Russian church who found him in the robbery of treasures hidden in the church walls. Young Inspector Stanko Pletikosic gets his first task - to solve this murder together with the inspector and veteran Andrej Tanasijević Tane. Stanko seizes Tane in the bar, and the beginning of their cooperation does not seem to be promising.
