Casper and Valentine investigate when a schoolgirl is reported missing by her best friend. Although the girl's mother initially fails to see any concern, a voicemail message left on her friend's phone soon indicates that something may be seriously wrong. As the search continues, the pair later find the girl deep inside a wooded common, only to discover that she has just given birth – but there is no sign of the baby. Meanwhile, Hunter and Masters keep track of a stolen van they suspect has been involved in a robbery.
