Mavis is stunned to discover that Rita is getting married and plans to live in Florida. She and Derek both realise that they could buy The Kabin off Rita. Alec refuses to be despondent when customers leave as there's no food for sale. Jim is horrified to hear that his joke cost Betty her job. He apologises to Alec, telling him that he has no intention to report him to the health inspector. Bet tells Alec that if they're not going to be reported they can sell food again.
