A bravura performance from Johnny Harris as ordinary bloke John who is trying the stiff upper lip approach to his daughter Kelly's death by just getting on with it. However, unable to communicate with his wife Linda played by Claudie Blakley, who's in her own private world of grief, John finds himself completely adrift in the world. He quits his job, and reinvents himself within a group of Polish builders telling them he's footloose and fancy free - no wife or kids.
